Hi there...

Recently I recieved a promotional email with the new Real-Time data feed for Gold suscribers.    With this one activated can we have tick resolution data through TC2k v7...?   If this true, how much historical data will be available through first download retrieve..?

Thanks in advance.!

No, the real time data with Gold will only work with version 12 or higher.  The most recent version is 16 and can be downloaded here: http://www.tc2000.com/download

Gold with a Realtime U.S. Stocks feeds would give you realtime data (including tick data) in TC2000 v12 and TC2000 v16, but not in TC2000 v7. You need to have Platinum with a Realtime U.S Stocks feed to get realtime data in TC2000 v7.

The realtime data isn't actually downloaded and stored on your computer in any version of TC2000 in any case. You need to be connected to the server to view the realtime data. The data in the tick time frame can be quite limited in duration as it is based on a limited number of tick bars instead of a specific span of time.

Thanks Bruce.

So, in order to download "tick data" through TC2k v7, I need to use a Platinum membership right..?

Cheers.

No, you cannot export any intraday data in version 7.  You can in version 16, but as Bruce mentioned above you can only export a limited amount of data.
