I use two PCs with both Windows 7 and 10  (one each home/portable use solely by me) and have both SF 4 and NOW SF 5 .  I have accumulated different Paint settings primarily on Price and Volume plots.

Plus there are some cases where I have merely messed up a setting on one systme and would like to recomver from another setup elsewhere.

Is there a way to commonize/transfer Paint (and even other) settings between installations so that I end up with my prefderred settings on both systems and SF versions?  Note that moving settings from version 4.5 to 5 will be the most common use.

Also,  are there similar ways to commonsize osther setup settings?

Thanks

w

I think the easiest thing to do would be to save the layout on one machine and then just copy it to the My Layouts folder on the other machine.

The layouts for version 4 are stored in...

C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\StockFinder\SCREENNAME\My Layouts

and layouts for version 5 are stored in...

C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\StockFinder5\SCREENNAME\My Layouts
