This formula is returning the correct volume of current day and each of the past 5 days but it is comparing it to todays -- 3 times the the 50 Day EMA (Value) --

How can I get the volume of each day to compare to the -- 3 times the the 50 Day EMA (Value) -- for each of the past 5 days?

Thanks,,,,

Here is the formula I was referring to in the post above....

V>(3*XAVGV50) OR V1>(3*XAVGV50) OR V2>(3*XAVGV50) OR V3>(3*XAVGV50) OR V4>(3*XAVGV50) OR V5>(3*XAVGV50)

If you want volume to be greater than three times the 50-period exponential moving average of volume at the time at least once during the the most recent five bars:

V > 3 * XAVGV50 OR V1 > 3 * XAVGV50.1 OR V2 > 3 * XAVGV50.2 OR V3 > 3 * XAVGV50.3 OR V4 > 3 * XAVGV50.4

If you want volume to be greater than three times the 50-period exponential moving average of volume at the time during all of the most recent five bars:

V > 3 * XAVGV50 AND V1 > 3 * XAVGV50.1 AND V2 > 3 * XAVGV50.2 AND V3 > 3 * XAVGV50.3 AND V4 > 3 * XAVGV50.4

If you want volume during the most recent five bars to be higher than three times the current 50-period exponential moving average of volume at least once (what you wrote above would work fine for this as well):

MAXV5 > 3 * XAVGV50

If you want volume during the most recent five bars to be higher than three times the current 50-period exponential moving average for all five bars:

MINV5 > 3 * XAVGV50

If you want something else, then we would need further clarification from you as to your actual intent.
