Hi Bruce,

How do I write a PCF equivalent to the following StockCharts SCAN language?

[ADX Line(14) < 20 Days Ago ADX Line(14) * 0.41]

Thanks

Jeff

It is not possible to create this as a Condition Formula, but you can create this by clicking on the ADX indicator on the chart and selecting Create Scan Condition.

Create Conditions from Your Chart

You will want to change Condition drop-down to Moving Down %, the Period to 20 and the Percent Change < setting to -59.

Bruce: Is there a way to get the value of today's ADX and subtract it by the the ADX value 1 day ago? I'm trying to creat a column in my watchlist so I can see the current slope.  Thanks in advance!

You should be able to a Rate of Change indicator to the chart, set the period of the ROC to 1 and then Change Data Source on that rate of change to specify the ADX as the data source to plot this in TC2000 version 12.4.

Change Data Source

Then you can click on the Rate of Change indicator and select Add Column to watchList to use it as a WatchList Column.
