I have started to use Linux (Ubuntu) for most of my computing needs and would like to run TC2000 as well. Any plans to make your system available in this operating system?

TC2000 version 7 is for Windows only and TC2000 version 12.4 runs in the browser but requires Silverlight.

TC2000 for Mobile Phones and TC2000 for Tablets can also be run in the browser and do not require Silverlight, but are designed for viewing things setup in TC2000 version 12.4 instead of being standalone products.

This means you would probably need emulation or virtualization to run Windows to use TC2000 version 7 or either Windows or Mac OS to run TC2000 version 12.4.

You may want to take a look at the following topic as it explores how to use Netflix Desktop to get Silverlight running under Wine to run TC2000 version 12.4 in Linux.

TC2000 12 under Linux!

TC2000 runs great on Ubuntu.

1. Install pipelight. This will allow you to run Silverlight.

The first thing you’ll need to do is add the necessary repository. In Ubuntu, you can add it with this command:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pipelight/stable

Then, install Pipelight using the command:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install pipelight-multi

Once Pipelight has been installed, you need to configure it and enable Silverlight using the command:
sudo pipelight-plugin --enable silverlight

2. Now, point your browser to a web site that requires silverlight, and install silverlight same as if you were on a Mac or PC.
