IN Tc2000 version 7, I am following this thread.
http://forums.worden.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=26559
I already created the custom indicators, and I am trying to find weges, flags or consolidations using dave method. However, there is no visual slope on tc2000 version 12.3
I tried to create scan the following conditions:
1. Linear Regresion 10 of H*1.01 Moving down smar. Whether I put it slow or fast, the scan throws 0 results
2. Linear Regression 10 of L*0.99 Moving up smart. Same here
3. Linear Regression 44 moving up
At the beginning I thought my conditions were removing all stocks from each other. But not, When I use one condition only, it doesnt show any results

Click on the Linear Regression Lines in turn and select Create Scan Condition to create the Conditions.
Create Conditions from Your Chart
You will want to use Moving Up % with the Period set to 1 and the Percent Change > set to 0 with the 44-Period Linear Regression Line of Price History and the 10-Period Linear Regression Line of L * .99 Custom PCF Indicator. You can use a positive percentage for these instead of 0 if desired.
You will want to use Moving Down % with the Period set to 1 and the Percent Change < set to 0 with the 10-Period Linear Regression Line of H * 1.01 Custom PCF Indicator. You can use a negative percentage for this instead of 0 if desired.
Using a Period of 1 is the most important part of these recommendations as a Linear Regression Line is defined using only 2 data points. If the Period is set to something greater than 1, there will not be enough data for the calculations.

Sorry to drag up an old thread but is there a way to create a condition that would show zero slope or a straight horizantal linear regression line give or take a few % points? i thought maybe a % up less than one and % down greater than zero but that didn't do it. Thanks.

Your range is very large as a percent change in the linear regression line from one bar to the next. Try setting the Period of the Moving Down % and Moving Up % conditions to the period of the Linear Regression Line minus 1 to cover as much time as possible in the test.
I would also suggest trying smaller percentages. Try setting Moving Down % to Percent Change < 0.5 and setting Moving Up % to Percent Change > -0.5 (note that this is a negative number).
If you decide you need to adjust the percentages, you will need to create the conditions from scratch. Editing the conditions will not give you options required to correctly adust the percentages.
