For years I've been having Excel pull stock quotes and other data from TC2000 by means of the TCDK and TC2000dev.dll.

Is this capability permanently gone now with TC2000 ver 12.3 and Silverlight?

You can still use TC2000 version 7 to do this, but we do not have a TCDK which is compatible with TC2000 version 12.3.

Thanks Bruce - that's what I supposed.  The other thing I prefer in 7 is that it downloads the data so I can look at it later in places where I have no internet access.

So I guess the question is, what's the future for the ver 7?  Is it a dead end and you guys will put all your efforts into Silverlight/Web connected software from now on?

It is not dead in the sense that we have absolutely no plans to discontinue TC2000 version 7. That said, all of our development resources are currently focused on TC2000 version 12.3, TC2000 for Tablets and TC2000 for Mobile Phones. We have no plans to further develop TC2000 version 7.

Bruce I have a question you might answer.  Do you happen to know what 3rd party graph control is used with the TC2000 v12 product?
