The “Linked” Industry or Sub-Industry watchlists ("daughter" watchlists) are really cool features but I’ve noticed a difference in the way they handle displayed stock symbols depending on how the symbols are selected.

If a new stock is selected by typing in the new symbol, the daughter  “Linked” Industry or Sub-Industry watchlist highlights the symbol and scrolls it into view.

If a new stock is selected by “Tab Scrolling” a Watchlist, the daughter “Linked” Industry or Sub-Industry watchlists only highlights the symbol and it may or may not be visible in the  Ind/Sub-Ind Watchlist window, depending on daughter watchlist sorting and window size.

Is there supposed to be a daughter Watchlist display difference depending on how the newly displayed stock is selected?

Unless there is a real reason against, I would really like to see both handled in the same manner, i.e. the highlighted stock scrolled into view in the daughter Industry/Sub-Industry window.

I find this really useful to display fundamental data in the Industry/Sub-Industry window so I can evaluate my selected stock along with its industry brothers as I Tab through a technical list.  This allows keeping technical data uncluttered by fundamental data while still having lots of fundamental data readily available.

Thanks.

The quotation marks didn't print properly when this was first posted in the forum so I've removed them here for clarity (since they were actually incorrectly used).  I'm sorry for the confusion.
