I am running TC (latest vers) and would like to scan for the  following two bullish conditions:

First conditon a "Evening Star" pattern

A long green candle followed by a small red gapping up

Followed by a sizeable red candle gapping down and closing near the low of the green candle

Second condition a "Matt Hold" pattern"

A long green candle followed by a 3 small red candles

Followed by a sizeable green candle

The 3 red candles are small and end near the bottom of the first green candle

Thanks, Jim

I am happy to read you were able to find the answers on your own.

I have gone through and checked all of the Condition Formulas in the Boolean PCFs for Candlestick Patterns and have made changes since your post which should get rid of any errors generated by the formulas. That said, I am not a candlestick guy. I did not check to see if the Condition Formulas match the patterns (as various candlestick practitioners do not seem to agree on the definitions of specific patterns).
