Is there any reason why ATR in TC doesn't match the values in SF and I tried both 4 and 5.1?

Take a look at TNH for ex in TC the 30 day ATR reads 9.89 but in SF it says 7.80

The ATR in StockFinder 5 uses Wilder's Smoothing. The ATR in TC2000 version 12 uses Simple Smoothing.

You should be able to get at least close to duplicating the ATR from each program in the other program. Set the Period of the ATR to 1 and then add a Moving Average. To duplicate the TC2000 ATR in StockFinder, add a Simple Moving Average with the Period set to the Period of the ATR. To duplicate the StockFinder ATR in TC2000, add an Exponential Moving Average. You will need to double the period of the ATR in StockFinder and then subtract 1 to get the Period to use in the Exponential Moving Average in TC2000.

So inorder to get the same indicator in TC as SF for a 30 day ATR I need to plot a 1 Day ATR and then plot a 59 day Epo MA on it?

Is this correct

Yes, you would need a 59-Period Exponential Moving Average applied to a 1-Period ATR in TC2000 to get the same results as a 30-Period ATR in StockFinder. And even then, the results will only be close (possibly very close, I haven't tested it) because different amount of data will be used to calculate each of the EMAs.
