When I Drag & Drop an indicator (of nearly the same scale) onto a price chart, via the Overlay method; how do I keep the same scale as the Price chart ?
( what I have now is the Indicator over the Price chart, with two separate scales displayed on the right - Y axis.)
Thanks.

Right-click on the Indicator and select Scaling | Scale With | Price History.

A belated "Thank You" on this Bruce. Thanks for your patience.
I'm getting the hang of StockFinder . . . "Real Cool" . . . . I like the play ground, so many things to try. :)
One other question:
Is there a way to have a Buy Rule in BackScanner, that will Buy based on the ranking of an indicator ?
i.e. example: "Buy the 3 securities with the highest 21 day momentum indicator value."

The Is there a way to determine a stock's ranking within a list based on some criteria topic has an example that checks for a top five ranking using a Rank vs List (Raw Rank) Block with the rank being calculated based on 30-Period Price Percent Change. It is possible for the results to not be exactly five symbols however as a result of ties.
It should probably also be noted that Rank based Indicators and Rules are incredibly resource intensive when compared to similar Value based Indicators and Rules. They can dramatically slow down StockFinder.

Bruce,
Is it possible to create an indicator using a specific symbol (spy) to overlay onto an existing indicator?

Probably the best way to do this is to add a Price for Symbol indicator to the chart.
Some indicators have "of Indicator" in the title or would normally be child indicators (like a moving average). You could then add these to the Price for Symbol indicator to get them applied to the symbol being used in the Price for Symbol indicator.
In other indicators, you would need to edit the Block Diagram in order to get the indicator to use the Price for Symbol indicator as the parent indicator.

Bruce,
Is it possible to write a line code to an indicator instead of using block diagram so it only plots one symbol on the chart?

You can use the PriceData Method if you really want to use RealCode instead of the built in Price for Symbol indicator, but I'm not sure how this makes it "so it only plots one symbol on the chart".

Bruce,
keep in mind i require only the indicator to be static (one symbol), being said that i'm unable utilize the child indicator function, its not showing my indicators.
I did manage to get dynamic symbol through block diagram, however upon restart chart main symbol reappears and i'm not sure how to block it.
As for PriceData Method i'm not sure how to intergrate the code into the indicator.
easiest solution please...
