Hello,

As I go through my watchlists I'd like to be able to flag certain symbols that I believe may be strong candidates to go long or short.  Is there a way for me to easily "flag" them so I can go back later and do a sort on the symbols I have tagged?

Or, do I have to just add those symbols to another smalle watchlist?  If this is the case when I add the symbol to a new watchlist will a lose trendlines, etc. that I have written on the chart?

Thanks,
Bruce_L

Flagging in StockFinder does add the Flagged Symbols to another Watchlist.

If you want a Flag Column to do this sort of thing, right-click on a blank portion of the Watchlist Headers and select New Column | Flag for New WatchList. If you want a re-usable flagging system that is as similar to TeleChart as possible, you can call it All Flagged Items.

To Flag the item as you scroll through the Watchlist, double-left-click on the symbol in the Watchlist Column containing the Flag.

When you are done flagging the items, left-click on the Watchlist Column Header to sort by the flags. Then highlight all of the flagged items, right-click on the highlighted items and select Remove From List | Selected Symbols.

One of the advantages of the flagging system in StockFinder over TeleChart is that you can have multiple Flag Columns. Each of these Flag Columns will have its own Watchlist.
