 How can i add donchian channels to telechart...have tried and no luck.

I'm assuming you mean the highest high and
lowest low reached over a period.
 
Create two custom indicators:
 
 
MAXH20
 
 
MINL20
 
 
(this would be for 20 periods)
 
(be sure to put in the top window and select
plot using price scale)

 make shure you click the "plot with price scale" option.
