If I built some workspaces without using Personal Chartist as a base, can I make the Industry and Subindustry watchlists available like they are in Personal Chartist?

Thanks,

Ed,

You can always add an Industry or Sub-Industry tab to a workspace. Here's what you'll do:

1. To create a new tab for a new WatchList, right click in the area next to Main List and select Add Tab for New WatchList.

2. Name the WatchList Ind in the box that appears and select OK. When asked if you would like to add a flag column for the WatchList, select No. Also, click Done when given the option to specify symbols manually.

3. Now right-click the tab that's now named Ind and select Properties. You'll see the Block Diagram for the List. Remove the Ind Block. Working backward, connect the Input of WatchList to a Hemscott Main Group Block. Then drag the input of Hemscott Main Group to the Main List tab. This should add a Watch List 1 Selected Block to your diagram. Now whatever ticker you've selected in the MainList will populate the Ind list with all of the members of its Hemscott Industry Group.

4. To create the Sub tab, repeat the procedure above, replacing the Hemscott Main Group Block with a Hemscott Sub Group Block.

Thanks Julia. That worked great. One change, I had to change the name in the block diagram after making the changes or it would just revert to Column.
Thanks again,

Ed
