I came across this scan in Stocks & Commodities in 2003. I'm not sure how to input it to make it work. Here is the scan:
Longs
(c>20) and (avgv50>500)and (c>maxc5.1) and (c>c1+1) and (v>1.5*avgv50)

Shorts
(C>20) and (avgv50>500)and (c<minc5.1)and (c<c1-1)and(v>1.5*avgv50)

Can you tell me how to input it to make it run. thanks.

What you listed are what we call Personal Criteria Formulas.

You can create these as two seperate PCFs. This video will show you how to create a PCF: How to create a Personal Criteria Forumula (PCF)

Once you create and calcualte them, you can use either as a criterion in an EasyScan. It will give you a list of stocks that meet the conditions. Here is a video on how to create an EasyScan: Using EasyScan to find stocks that meet your own criteria

Let me know if you need more help.
