Can you show me the code for a stock that has been in an uptrend for the past 30 days, then it consolidates finding support and resistance in a consolidating channel for 10 days, then breaking out of its consolidation past its resistance by one bar or so.

Thanks

Try this for me....

Start by watching these three videos:

How to create a Personal Criteria Forumula (PCF)

Using EasyScan to find stocks that meet your own criteria

Create your own stock rankings using WatchLists and Sort conditions

Now create the following PCFs:

Breakout Today
H>MAXH40.1

10-day Trend/Consolidate-no today
100*(MAXH10.1-MINL10.1)/(AVGH10.1-AVGL10.1)

Once created you can make the following EasyScan

WatchList (ALL STOCKS)
Price Per Share (limit based on your trading)
Volume 90-day (limit based on your trading)
Breakout Today (no limit needed)
Price Percent Change 26-week (VALUE 5 to MAX)

Save the EasyScan and it will create a WatchList of stocks that fit the above conditions. Sort these results by your second PCF
10-day Trend/Consolidate-no today in ASCENDING order. This will rank the list by the tightness of the consolidation before today's breakout.
