I am trying to create a pcf to show when %D of stochastic 5.3.2 has just turned up on the 3 day chart. I have tried to understand some of the topics posted, but just cannot grasp it, sorry!

Topic: Moving Average Value On Chart

Is there a way to show the exact value of any moving average or stochastic on the chart either by using the pointer as it moves across the bar, or,  (I am not sure if I have my software set up properly), but the horizontal bar seems to go behind the lower windows as it moves down, should it carry on down on to those windows to make reading values easier. Or, perhaps there is a way to display the exact value of a moving average by putting it in a field on the top display bar, like the open, high, low, close etc:
Thanks

I am using a Wilder's RSI of price in telechart with settings of 2 period, 2 average and simple. If I plot the same settings in blocks, the values are different, am I doing something wrong or is there a reason.

Thanks Bruce,
I will do a bit of testing and see if there is much difference, on first sight it looks very similar for the colour change of the candles but they seem to be different sizes and fillings. Anyway, I will leave you in peace for your holiday now, have a good one.
Cheers

Hi, sorry to be a nuisance, but the Heiken ashi candle chart which you made the other day is not showing the previous day's candle. Could you please check it for me.
Thanks

The Ashi is a candle chart. I don't know a way to make a line chart give the same data as a candle chart.

Thanks Craig,
