Topic: Personal Criteria formula calculate
Posted: Friday, August 31, 2007 4:04:44 PM
C1 > (C2 * 1.05) AND C > (C1 * 1.02) AND V2 > (V1 * 5)

I would like to add Market Cap greater than 50M, (50,000,000,)to the above. The same may apply to eg: P/E, or items not listed in the PCF inventory clipboard. Thank you

Bruce, Apparntly I was doing the right thing when I tried to get the stocks per my PCF but my machine reverted back to my original list of stocks which is not the PCF selection. This may be a machine problem regarding security issues. I will be checking it unless you have a suggestion. Thanks again

Craig, Thank you for your last. I was close. Simple question. How do I now use this formula:
C1 > C2 * 1.1 AND C > C1 * 1.02
using easy scan to select the applicable stocks?

My PCF is (C1 > C2 * 1.1) AND C > C1 * 1.02) How do I scan for these conditions? The formula seeks two consecutive uptics the first by 10% and the second by 2%

Trainer: I am unable to calculate my Personal Criteria formula. When I hit Databank: Update Personal Criteria I get "Syntax errors were forund in the following Personal Criteria: (Up stocks) Unable to update Personal Criteria.

Formula is: C > C1 AND > C2

What I would like is: C > C1 * 1.1 AND C2 * 1.02

I was unable to calculate my PCF O1 > C2 * 1.1 AND O > C1 * 1.02.

This formula looks for stocks that rise 10% one day and rise by 2% the next day. Is the above written correctly?

I want to use hemscott with blocks and I don't know how to start. I missed the first half of the LA seminar you had and would like to get familiar with blocks and hemscott.
In time I hope to use blocks for particular formulations. Thank you

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT LOW, 1 TO 15 DOLLAR STOCKS FOR A CONSIDERABLE TIME AND FEEL THAT POROPERLY SELECTED,??,THEY HOLD THE BEST PROSPECT FOR PROFIT AND GROWTH. IN VIEW OF THIS I WOULD LIKE TO GENERATE A PFC FOR THE FOLLLOWING CONDITIONS:

1, A stock that has not moved more than +/- 10% over ther past 50 days
2. A stock that moves up 5% the day before OR A stock that moves up 5%
within a trading day.
3. Volume on day before is 100% more than average volume of the past
50 days.
4. Market cap between 10,000,000 and 200,000,000

Can such a formular be created in PFC?
