is the formula for the linear moving average available. If so could you post and example for a 10 period, no point to plot, no width. And one with 10 period, 2 as point to plot..Thanks in advance for any help..

GTOP ..Selected .. But other indicators negative. NO BUY ..

I was going to tell you that largest price increases occur while 200, 50 dma still falling or from reversals underneath them. Means they are pretty much sold out. At least temporarily.

I would like to see the less stringent daily list.
I currently get about 15 - 20 (CCI90) and 20 or so (CCI0). I then manually pare them down to 8 or 10 using a 2nd filter.

I am saving my picks of both kinds and will go back to review which appears to be better. But just a cursory glance shows than many of these picks go up by 7 - 10% fairly quickly ( < $45). Higher price seem to get $4 - $6 or more quickly. I will quantify about a weeks worth over the weekend. Course, since we are moving up, they are going to be biased.

What was the last criteria you added? Over 200dma?

Response to your last list. Sorry for taking time. Been busy. Still reviewing and refining picks based on based histories. But I will say, this is an excellent way to pick stocks. Using options, especially on more expensive stocks might be very lucrative. Especially using ITM.

I will use CCIRVR for CCI90 for a CCI (-90) rvr and CCI0 for a CCI crossing 0. Unless otherwise noted, CLS will be > OPEN and CLS will be greater than 2 days ago. I will also show my system pick dates if they are reasonably close.

4/27 IP ..CCIRVR met. Other criteria negative. NO BUY.
My Pick ..5/18. (CCI90)

3/14 JPM ..Not Picked.. CCIRVR came on 3/15. Other criteria negative. NO BUY
My pick ..4/5 (CCI90)

6/10 LIN ..Not Picked ..CCIRVR came on 6/11. BUY

4/7 SIRF ..CCIRVR ..Other criteria ambiguous. NO BUY.
My Pick ..5/03 (CCI0)

5/27 TECD ..Not Picked.
My Pick ..6/14 (CCI90)

6/2 TRB ..Not Picked
My Pick ..6/13 (CCI90)

6/1 CXW ..Not Picked
My Pick ..5/27 (CCI90) .. ALSO 5/16 (CCI90)

5/10 EMMS ..No picked ..Signal on 5/09 BUY.
My Pick ..5/09 (CCI90) .. Also on 5/3 (CCI90)

5/31 GS ..Not Picked.. Signal on 6/1 but ambiguuos.
My Pick ..6/7 (CCI0)

4/29 MDCC.. CCIRVR ..Picked. Also on 5/18 (CCI90) and 6/13 (CCI90)
Dont know if this helps you any. I would say the results in most cases for your picks or mine would be about equivalent. My targets would be set for 7-10% for anything less than $45 or so, and $5 for anything greater.

good luck..

Sorry I posted this late in the day.

I ran a scan for 5/19. Six stocks showed up. What was your view? All are based on your earlier criteria.
FLIR, CVC, MYL, DTPI (no option), GRA, MLNM

Caveat, of course, is that the market was in rally mode, so most anything might have looked pretty good.

I have not yet looked at the outcomes.

Have done a quick check of your last list. Will get back to you when I have done more in depth.

I would like to see 5 more random picks. Daily.
How many signals a day do you get out of your universe of stocks?

I am using a subset of about 550 stocks, lower if I use an option filter. I get about 15 a day of CCI (-90) rvr, and about 20 crossing 0. Still looking to find two other reliable secondary indicators, (eg, stochastic, Moving Avg, MACD, VOL) for confirmations.

I will send you 5 from about 20 days ago. Let me know what you think..

Regards.

Slight clarification to above.. ON CCI crossing 0, ORB and IART other indicators were very ambiguous, ruling out any buy.

Also added that CLS must be >= yesterdays open. Have not definitively checked on this, but should be able to soon.

Okay.. I dont do 5days, So all my observations are on 1day.

ARG ..May 2 CCI (-90) rvr ..CLS > OPN. CLS > 2 days ago. Other indicators confirm.. BUY.

ORB ..APR 21 ..CCI (-90) rvr ..CLS > OPN, CLS > 2 days ago, but not > OPN yesterday (4/20). Other indicators dont confirm. NO BUY.

IART .. APR 29 ..NO signal ..APR 30 ..CCI (-90)rvr ..CLS > OPN > CLS 2 days ago. Other indicators dont confirm. NO BUY. (THIS was worst signal of all the cases).

CVX ..MAY 17 NO signal.
MAY 18 ..CCI (-90) rvr .. CLS < OPEN. NO BUY.

I am also checking on CCI crossing 0 for signals.

Results would have been:
ARG ..May 3
ORB ..APR 21
IART..MAY 4
CVX ..MAY 24

ARG and CVX had best other confirming indicators.
ORB and IART had ambiguous confirming indicators.

It looks like whatever you picked, you still would have gotten your 5% up before a 10% down, with exception of IART. ORB was very close, depending on what actual numbers you used.

Look forward to hearing from you...
