Craig - Thank you for prompt response. I am following your suggestion and learning to use buttons on your forum. Thank you for personal attention. I do indeed try to read your posts very attentively. I would respectively note that MWNIX is a mutual fund, not a stock, as you wrote in your reply. It is one of funds (now) distributed with TC2000 for funds, and I have placed a discussion on a board called "TC2000 mutual funds". Please tell me why this means that I "...keep posting at the end of threads that have nothing to do with your post...."? I would also appreciate the worden definition of what is "off-topic" so that I won't get in trouble again.
Please note the only thing I care about is improving your product, that would benefit me and others and will eventually result in more customers for you. I believe that Worden brothers think the same way and want problems resolved asap. Please let me know if I am wrong. best - alex
quote [dalengo] My question was about MWNIX, which is MF, on MF thread. __Quote from Mutual Funds thread_____________________ [Craig_S] Posted : Thursday, February 24, 2005 7:15:54 AM Rank: Worden Trainer Location: Worden Brothers, Inc. The historical data for this stock should be set for resend in the next few nights. Everyone will get the corrected historical data when they download.
dalengo, your post has little to do with the thread above it. Your post is considered "off topic" because it does not relate. I am forced to lock threads that stray off topic.
In the future, if you have a question or a comment that does not directly relate to an active topic you can create your own topic by clicking the NEW TOPIC button at the top of the screen.
If you still do not see the correction on your charts in by Tuesday's download, please start a new topic and let me know.
Locking for being off topic.

I wish you had read all of my last reply to you, though. We have to teach you how to use the NEW TOPIC button! You keep posting at the end of threads that have nothing to do with your post....

It did happen!
Kudos to the Data Department , thank you Patrick for quick action, thank you Craig_S for keeping eye on this problem. Fund data for MWNIX is now corrected and this is very important indeed. Myself, and many others, I believe, do appreciate this improvement of your product.
cheers - alex PS. My question was about MWNIX, which is MF, on MF thread.

Hello, Moving back to MF board to update you on our discussion: No changes as of tonight 2/23/05 to MWNIX data since Craig's post of 02/17/05. Waiting for a moment in a not very distant future when I also will have "big hats off to the gentlemen (and ladies) in the Data Department"
cheers - alex ............. Posted : Thursday, February 17, 2005 2:46:30 AM Rank: Registered User Joined: 1/13/2005 Posts: 8
Bruce, I see no changes on 12/16/2004 for MWNIX, whether or not the Show Unadjusted for Splits is checked. I am using the current version of TC2000 for funds.
I am wondering if there is a way to get a direct response from your Data Department on the issues we've raised here? I was asking about those indices (see above) for months via email Support. All the indices are available from other places like Yahoo, but their sources are not very reliable, so I thought that you can provide the clean data and this will attract more people to try your product. Cheers - alex
....................... QUOTE (Bruce_L) dalengo, I'm looking at this over the weekend, and at 6:45AM to boot, so I don’t have any additional feedback to provide on the Dow Jones indexes. However, MWNIX shows a $1.12 Dividend/Distribution on 12/16/2004 that makes for a chart with no big drops when Show Unadjusted for Splits is unchecked. . .................. Craig, thank you much for taking care of this issue. Unfortunately, the week is over but data has not been adjusted yet. Is there a chance that the Data Department will add the DJ indices me and others mentioned above, realistically? Other data vendors carry them. Cheers -alex

Hello,
Thanks a bunch to the Data Department for adding MWNIX . However, it seems that the data for this ticker is unadjusted for ditribution ::
MWNIX 12/16/2004 (drop of about 6%)
Could you please check this one up?
Thanks, and hope for more additions coming soon from the Data Department, as requested above.

Dear Craig:
I forgot to mention a smaller albeit may be more important request (for me): would it be possible to add the data for MWNIX (MFS INTL NEW DISCOVERY FD CLASS) and DSFRX (Domini Social Equity R) to TC2000FUNDS ? Those are in my 401k and I need them dearly.
I would greatly appreciate that,
Cheers, -alex

Hi Doug,
Excellent! Sorry for double posting - I just wanted some attention to this (important IMHO) topic. Truly yours, -alex

Hi, WRT TC2kF:: Would it be possible to add Adv Issues, Decl Issues, Adv Volume, Decl Volume, New Highs, New Lows for Nasdaq? (similar data for NYSE seem to be present, but without clear explanation in the Help guide). It would be great to also have the Dow Jones indices for: DJINET - internet DJUSBK - banking DJUSBM - basic materials DJUSBT - biotech DJUSCY - cyclical DJUSEL - DJUSEN - energy DJUSFN - financials DJUSHC - healthcare DJUSNC - non-cyc DJUSOI - oil DJUSPM - precious metals DJUSPR DJUSRE - real estate DJUSSC - semis DJUSTC - technology DJUSTL DJUSUT - utilities DJUSWC - wireless All that would be a great asset to people trading index funds.
If possible, could you please tell us when to expect these additions?
Sincerely - alex
