Hi Bruce. I love the Squeeze code you wrote for TC2000 and want to use it in SF-5. Could you please convert it so I can use it as a chart indicator in SF-5? For your reference I am pasting the Momentum, Sqz on & Sqz out indicators you wrote for your convenience. Thanks so much.

Sqz on: (Red dot)

200 * (SQR(ABS(C ^ 2 + C1 ^ 2 + C2 ^ 2 + C3 ^ 2 + C4 ^ 2 + C5 ^ 2 + C6 ^ 2 + C7 ^ 2 + C8 ^ 2 + C9 ^ 2 + C10 ^ 2 + C11 ^ 2 + C12 ^ 2 + C13 ^ 2 + C14 ^ 2 + C15 ^ 2 + C16 ^ 2 + C17 ^ 2 + C18 ^ 2 + C19 ^ 2 - 20 * AVGC20 ^ 2) / 20) * 4 / 3 / ((AVGH20 - AVGL20) / 2 + (ABS(H - C1) + ABS(L - C1) + ABS(H1 - C2) + ABS(L1 - C2) + ABS(H2 - C3) + ABS(L2 - C3) + ABS(H3 - C4) + ABS(L3 - C4) + ABS(H4 - C5) + ABS(L4 - C5) + ABS(H5 - C6) + ABS(L5 - C6) + ABS(H6 - C7) + ABS(L6 - C7) + ABS(H7 - C8) + ABS(L7 - C8) + ABS(H8 - C9) + ABS(L8 - C9) + ABS(H9 - C10) + ABS(L9 - C10) + ABS(H10 - C11) + ABS(L10 - C11) + ABS(H11 - C12) + ABS(L11 - C12) + ABS(H12 - C13) + ABS(L12 - C13) + ABS(H13 - C14) + ABS(L13 - C14) + ABS(H14 - C15) + ABS(L14 - C15) + ABS(H15 - C16) + ABS(L15 - C16) + ABS(H16 - C17) + ABS(L16 - C17) + ABS(H17 - C18) + ABS(L17 - C18) + ABS(H18 - C19) + ABS(L18 - C19) + ABS(H19 - C20) + ABS(L19 - C20)) / 40 + .000001) >= 1)

Bruce: I think we are close to what I am looking for. Can you help me turn this into a ATR-9 and the the 9-period MA of the 2x factor. Here is my attemp but I'm doing something wrong. Thanks

2 * ((AVG(AVGH9,9) - AVG(AVGL9,9)) / 2 + (ABS(H - C1) + ABS(C1 – L)) + 2 * (ABS(H1 - C2) + ABS(C2 - L1)) + 3 * (ABS(H2 - C3) + ABS(C3 - L2)) + 4 * (ABS(H3 - C4) + ABS(C4 - L3)) + 5 * (ABS(H4 - C5) + ABS(C5 - L4)) + 6 * (ABS(H5 - C6) + ABS(C6 - L5)) + 7 * (ABS(H6 - C7) + ABS(C7 - L6)) + 8 * (ABS(H7 - C8) + ABS(C8 - L7)) + 9 * (ABS(H8 - C9) + ABS(C9 - L8)) + 8 * (ABS(H9 - C10) + ABS(C10 – L9)) + 7 * (ABS(H10 - C11) + ABS(C11 - L10)) + 6 * (ABS(H11 - C12) + ABS(C12 - L11)) + 5 * (ABS(H12 - C13) + ABS(C13 - L12)) + 4 * (ABS(H13 - C14) + ABS(C14 - L13)) + 3 * (ABS(H14 - C15) + ABS(C15 - L14)) + 2 * (ABS(H15 - C16) + ABS(C16 - L15)) + (ABS(H16 - C17) + ABS(C17 - L16)) / 180)

Hi Bruce:

I'm using this formula for ATR-10:

(AVGH10 - AVGL10) / 2 + (ABS(H - C1) + ABS(C1 - L) + ABS(H1 - C2) + ABS(C2 - L1) + ABS(H2 - C3) + ABS(C3 - L2) + ABS(H3 - C4) + ABS(C4 - L3) + ABS(H4 - C5) + ABS(C5 - L4) + ABS(H5 - C6) + ABS(C6 - L5) + ABS(H6 - C7) + ABS(C7 - L6) + ABS(H7 - C8) + ABS(C8 - L7) + ABS(H8 - C9) + ABS(C9 - L8) + ABS(H9 - C10) + ABS(C10 - L9)) / 20

and am wodering if I can multiple it times a factor and then get an average of that figure: For example if I wanted to get 2x of the ATR-10:

2 * ((AVGH10 - AVGL10) / 2 + (ABS(H - C1) + ABS(C1 - L) + ABS(H1 - C2) + ABS(C2 - L1) + ABS(H2 - C3) + ABS(C3 - L2) + ABS(H3 - C4) + ABS(C4 - L3) + ABS(H4 - C5) + ABS(C5 - L4) + ABS(H5 - C6) + ABS(C6 - L5) + ABS(H6 - C7) + ABS(C7 - L6) + ABS(H7 - C8) + ABS(C8 - L7) + ABS(H8 - C9) + ABS(C9 - L8) + ABS(H9 - C10) + ABS(C10 - L9)) / 20)

So now my question is can I get a 10-period MA of this multiple of the ATR-10? Thanks

I am trying to create a %True indicator in TC2007 using the formula:

(100 * (C - MAXH10) / (MAXH10 - MINL10)) > -25 AND (100 * (C1 - MAXH10.1) / (MAXH10.1 - MINL10.1)) < -25

The indicator should show me when the calculated value crosses above -25. The calculations work prefectly on a spreadsheet and should show 100% when the condition occurs.

What am I doing wrong that I get an error that this formula is not a Boolean Formula.

I appreciate the help.

Bruce: Thank you for all you do for the Worden community. I greatly appreciate your help. I have succesfully implemented the formulas you provided on Nov 3rd to identify BB Sq breakouts to the upside. I am having a brain-cramp and can't figure out how to adjust the formula to show downside breakouts. Can you help? Thanks again

Thanks for the reply StockGuy. Actually each condition is based on separate metrics for each time frame. Can I still do it as you sugest?
