G/M Bruce,

There has been discussion on another forum about Cutler's RSI.  I searched the Discussion Groups here but did not get a hit on it.  The Information is from wikipedia.  Could you see if a TC2000 PCF is possible.  Thanks

Cutler's RSI

A variation called Cutler's RSI is based on a simple moving average of U and D,[4] instead of the exponential average above. Cutler had found that since Wilder used an exponential moving average to calculate RSI, the value of Wilder's RSI depended upon where in the data file his calculations started. Cutler termed this Data Length Dependency. Cutler's RSI is not data length dependent, and returns consistent results regardless of the length of, or the starting point within a data file.

Cutler's RSI generally comes out slightly different from the normal Wilder RSI, but the two are similar, since SMA and EMA are also similar.

Hello Bruce,

Thanks for the reply.

I will see how it plays.

A little more information on what I am trying to do.

I would like to find stocks that are trading within a few cents +/- or the whole dollar or half dollar price.

Example:  price at 101.02 or 100.96 or  52.53 or 51.45

Using the round function I could find the whole dollar figure then subtract the price from the rounded number and determine if the remainder was within the paramerter/s wanted.

Thanks

I have searched through the info on the above thread link but could not find a rounding function or operand. I also did a search on round / rounding but didn't come up with anything.

Is there one available that I am missing?

Thanks

Bruce,

Thank you for the KST thread post.  I will experiment with some of the PCFs.

I don't know how you do all the things you do.

Thanks :)

Just wondering if there is a chance of getting Martin Pring's KST indicator implemented in TC2000 12 ?

Several other charting software have it available.

Thanks

Is there a way  in tc2000.12  to set a value for what the exp. 8 ma was yesterday and then indicate with  a check mark on the watch list when a 5 minute bar today crosses that value?

I made a pcf indicator xmac8.1 and showed the value in my watch list

But, it only seems to show the cross on the "daily" chart

Thanks
