Topic: TC 2000 v.12.1 new pricing question
Posted: Tuesday, March 20, 2012 1:55:41 AM
I have clearly expressed my disappointment in several of the recent changes made to TC2000 but I want to make it clear that these changes are unfair and must be addressed asap!

I am trading the markets to make several hundred dollars per week and I do not have the time to count every penny nickel and dime that these alerts will cost. Honestly I am beginning to wonder exactly what my subscription fee of $29.99 goes towards. I really think if a price increase is necessary you should just increase the monthly fee to $35. It is absurd to put the burden on your customers of counting all of these ridiculous fees. My subscription fee should be the one and only charge: no hidden extras.

I am very disappointed that I can no longer scan for oversold stochastics on the 60 minute charts. Yes I understand that it is technically intraday data, but the scan used to work in version 12 and I based my decision to subscribe based on that. If not for that scan I might as well just use stockcharts.com, their "extra" package is only $25 per month: its less expensive. Or maybe I can just use my paper trading account with Think or Swim: I can run complex scans, even on intraday data for FREEEEE! You see I have other options but I have remained a loyal customer because the software is excellent. These new changes are just a massive slap in the face.

By the way, just like tonight,  you can have customer service call me and try to explain that the 60 minute scans working in version 12 was a "software glitch" all you want but that is an unacceptable and lame excuse and I am insulted by the wasted time on the phone. You cannot change the services offered without notice. It used to work and it should still work.

Worden needs to re-evaluate their software changes and new charges thouroughly and fix it before they are trapped in a "Netflix September 2011" situation. I am ready to abandon Worden for good because they are showing their true colors: they dont care about their customers, they just want to generate additional revenue and its being done in a very, very questionable manner. Your customers should always be your first priority: if not for them where would you be?

I am very confused by all of these new charges for alerts. I was told in the past that trendline alerts would remain free. I also wish Worden would explain these charges for "live scans" is there any more documentation so I can understand? And now I cannot view results of hourly oversold stochastic without platinum?! That's never been a problem before. I have been very anxious to see improvements in this program but right now I am only confused frustrated and disappointed. Worden could have done a much better job but it seems these changes are only geared towards producing more revenue not creating a better experience for your customers. YOU need to explain new charges effectively before just forcing them on your customers. And maybe give them an option to opt out. Im sorry but this all sounds too similar to what Netflixdid several months ago. As it stands now I would not recommend this program to others. Very very disappointed; not only in the changes but in wordens failure to put their customers first!
Topic: SF5 is not a SCANNING tool, just a sorting tool.

I am extremely disappointed to learn that SF5 cannot scan for stocks passing multiple rules as SF4 did. SF5 can only filter and sort, and sort based on ONLY ONE condition at a time! I cannot believe the designers would remove such a valuable feature. I cannot use SF5 and am now forced to go back to SF4 after investing 30+ hours in trying to scan in SF5.  I just spent 40 minutes with Worden tech support and they confirmed for me that SF5 will NOT scan like SF4. I thought version 5 was supposed to be an improvement!
