Topic: Topping Candles
Posted: Tuesday, July 21, 2009 5:57:27 PM
Hello everyone,

Hope you are watching those topping Doji's and Hangman candles showing up everywhere !

NDX  today created a nice Hangman.  Look back on June 8 to June 11  then look on June 29, 30 and July 1.
these were giving you a heads up as to what the next direction should be.

We are now seeing those candles show up in many stocks and indexes.

Look at the  OIH, DIG, QQQQ, DIA and at the opposite end you see Bullish candles setting up on VIX and DOG these turn up at or near  Market turning points.

Some stocks that are looking attractive for possible shorts are:  FCX, COG, PBR, ATW, COP, OXY, NEM, ABX  as well as many others.

As for charts I'm sorry but I do not know how to post them here for you to see,  I never learned how to.

What I do,  is look at many charts then apply Fib Levels as well as Fib Ext Levels as well as Fib Time Periods
and of course Stochastics,  MACD, and Williams % R.

For ex: on the NDX the Time periods show me that from the July 1 High to July 21 is 13 days ( a Fib # )
and from the June 23 Low up to July 23 is 21 days,  another Fib #.

Now using the Fib Ext from May 13 to June 11 and July 8 Low gives me the next potential upside targets,  those being at the .750 level is 1523.83 and at the 1.00 level gives me the next target of 1566.88. We reached
1553 today.

Now when you look at where the Stochastics and the Williams % R  as well as the chart itself,  it very clear where the Market is right now and where it was several days ago and so we are due from a pullback.

How much of a pullback will we have depends on where the final turn takes place.  From there we can let the Fib Tools help us look for those levels.

If you all do not wish for me to post my thoughts then please let me know and I will cease to do so.

It's just that I thought that maybe one of you might want to hear someone else's thoughts on this subject !

I will wait to hear what the majority has to say and then go from there.

Anyway good luck to all,

Topic: Short term top in GOLD and OIL ?
Posted: Monday, July 20, 2009 6:58:30 PM
Hello everyone,

I did not mean to create such a fuss with my prior post  " HEADING DOWN  "  but I  still stand by my July 23 forecast of a turning point in the Major Averages !

Here are 2 more  Markets  that are getting VERY CLOSE to a turn ( down ),  they should also do so by the same date,  no later than July 23 !  These are the GOLDS and the OIL sector.

Hey,  I mean can't one express his or her thoughts as to what one sees in the charts ?

To those of you that are concerned about this being a fee based opinion,  rest assured these are ONLY MY THOUGHTS and as such I believe that we all have the right to voice what we see coming  ( or at least what I think is going to occur ) .

There is no charge for what I see in my charts or what my thoughts are concerning any markets or any stock picks.

Lastly,  a BIG THANK YOU to DICEMAN for his kind words,

debdon

Hello all,

I hope that you are all getting ready to pick your candidates for the next move ( down )  we should be very close to a turn  ( July 23 at the latest should do it ) .

When I receive my signals,  I will post a few stocks that any of you might want to keep an eye on and watch what can happen in as little as 4 to 6 trading days !

Meanwhile bring up up your stops loss on those positions that have made you $$ over the past 5/6 trading days.

Good Luck to All.

Topic: TARGET REACHED !
Posted: Monday, March 16, 2009 8:12:37 PM

Hello everyone,

On my Sunday evening blog  ( Mar 8 )  I called for a 10% to 15% rally.   So,  from the low of 6470 on Mar 6 up to today's high of  7393,  this is a 14% move in 5 days.

At this time I would certainly pull some cash of the table and leave some for others.

My lower targets are as follows:  DOW   7040,  6930,  6820 and MAYBE even as low as 6660.
These targets are as of the close today.

If by any chance we get great news tomorrow the next upside target would be around  7600.

Just my  2 cents.

Hello everyone,

We need some additional downside movement to turn my indicators to the buy side.

As I indicated on the blog last Friday that my next turning point was due on Feb 14  +  or  -  ,  2 trading days

We are still in that time frame

Topic: PULLBACK DUE THIS WEEK
Posted: Tuesday, February 10, 2009 7:48:59 AM
Hello everyone,

I hope you are all positioning yourselves for the turning point that is coming this week.   Could be as soon the close today,  if not then no later then this Friday.

OIH seems to be forming a triple top.  XAU can't make up it's mind as to continue up or have a decent pullback.   QQQQ,  nice topping doji at close yesterday.

Keep your eyes on the banking stocks if the street does not like what Washington has to say today !

Until next time.

Topic: ABOUT GOLD ?
Posted: Saturday, January 31, 2009 12:33:59 PM
Hello again,

Yes ,  as I mentioned on Jan 23, I was looking for short term top in the Golds by Jan 28 !    A mini top occured the next trading day on Jan 26.

Some of the Gold stks came down 25% to 61.8% in 2 days !   Gold is very strong right now and this is NOT the pullback that I am looking for,  if you look at the weekly charts on the majors ( Gold )  you can see that  most closed  yesterday with bearish reversal candles and stoch is overbought.   Yes, we can still move up but this will be a GREAT SHORTING window when  this rally is over with !

Take NEM for ex:  since the Jan 15 low it has rallied some 33%,  AEM some 35%,  ABX some 32%.   All I know is that I will be ready when that happens and will gladly ride them down.

As for the DOW on Tues,   I mentioned ( blog )  that I was looking for 8357  +  or  - 50 pts  = 8407.   Also mentioned that the nest turning point was due by Jan 29.

On Wed the DOW hit 8406 and turned around for a 444 pt drop over the next 2 days.

As for the OIH ( oil sector )  since the low on Jan 20 at 67.91 I had a target of 83.79,  before we turn around on Jan 28 OIH hit 83.20.

If any are interested my giving the names  of companies and price entry levels as well are where I see them going after entries,  let me know and when these occur I will post them.

But you must be aware that these will be given FREE of charge,  so PAPER TRADE them and see what if  ?

That's it for now

Hello everyone,

Looks like the turning point that I was looking for  ( Jan 26  +  or  -  2 trading days  ) came in right on time ?

As for the Dow we need to make a good move up soon otherwise we're going down !   There is another turning point due by Jan 29,  we'll see.

I have listed my Gold stocks picks as well as their downside targets on hte blog,  if interested why not take a peak ?

just my two cents worth,
