I am looking for a PCF that will identify stocks where price has crossed a designated moving average in the last 10 days, or whatever time value I select. I would like to be able to easily substitute the MA value and the historical time period. I don't particularly care if the price is moving up or down (I have a PCF that identifies the trend of the MA).

This is an example that I found, but I think I would have to replicate this many times over to achieve my objective for pricce moving up or down (plus I am not sure the result will be what I want):
Price crossing Moving Average: In last 5 days, Up, Simple (average:10)
C>AVGC10 AND (C1<AVGC10.1 OR C2<AVGC10.2 OR C3<AVGC10.3 OR C4<AVGC10.4 OR C5<AVGC10.5)

I have attempted to do this myself, but the formula seems very long and clumsy. I am willing to bet you can come up with a very compact and efficient one. If not, just let me know.

I guess the subject is the message. I am concerned that TC will be dropped in the future in favor of Blocks. What do you guys say?
Topic: Possible to use PCF to detect if a stock has options that has spread of < $0.30?

Although this would be very handy for us option traders, I believe TC does not have any option data and therefor could not do a scan like this. I have found that optionable stocks that have high volume (1M+) generally have smaller spreads - but this in not always true. Stocks that have smaller volumes and open interest seem to have larger spreads and I stay away from those. The best I have found it to just note it on a chart. I wish there was a way to add custom fields to the DB to add information like this.

Actually, it popped up on my scan on 12/14, and Worden had bearish notes on it on 12/13 and 12/14. I wasn't real excited about the dropping volume in the pullback, but I went ahead and did a DEC bear spread on this yesterday for a potential nice chunk of change if it stays below 110 until market close on Friday (94.35 today).

I don't know why you are asking about this date. What did you know? The stock shure took a dive. Prior to this, I was in this twice on Call options and made a chunk of money.
