Nice discussion. While we are on the subject why not have Worden include a Fib confluence indicator that apprears in many other trading platforms.

HEADS UP!

So here at the end of the year, update on monthly charts:

SPY hit the 161.8%XA on a spike that lasted just a couple of seconds.

S&P500:

DJ30:

Russel:

Hit the 161.8 spot on.

I don't invest, I trade. therefore I only look at longterm charts for general direction.

My experience from seeing these patterns on smaller timeframes is that more times than not, the 161.8XA is at least a stiff resistance and many times results in a pullback. 

So in the next couple of months I expect (doesn't mean it will happen) at least some sideways movement and maybe a pullback. I'll keep watching these charts if on a monthly closing bases they can close above the 161.8 or not.

Probably my last post here on Worden forum. It has been a huge dissapointment to me that Worden stopped development on stockfinder, therefore I have been searching for an alternative, and think I have found it. Going to spend my time, switching over and re-program my indicators.

I have been trading for a good six years, and have met quite a few fellow traders here, from which I have learned a lot. I want to thank everyone for their contributions and inspiration. and thanks to Worden support, specially Bruce; fantastic help, and his knowledge and support has made all the difference for me.

I don't think it's appropriate or allowed to post 3rd party software here. But you should be able to look me up on twitter. I post a lot of charts and comments on twitter. so if you're interested in harmonics and the way I'm using it, then we can continue discussions there.

I only trade weekly options. I have developed an app that looks for unusual options activity on high liquid, high beta stocks. No option support on Worden's platforms was another reason for me to use their products less.

Just a quick update on the long term SPY chart we've been looking at for the past years. Since the beginning of the year the 161.8%XA level has been resistance. in the past couple of weeks, I've pointed out on twitter a possible XABCD pattern on the daily chart starting a new CD leg down.

With today's action that pattern has gotten some more validity imo.

Just a quick update on the long term SPY chart.

After that correction came to a halt at the 127%XA of the monthly chart, see the chart posted on january 2nd, we now find SPY at a PRZ of a Gartley pattern. the top of the PRZ was calculated at 209.43.

Today's high was 209.44

We have ba clearly defioned PRZ range, which we have to observe for a potential pullback if it breaks below the lower PRZ range.

If it holds above the PRZ then we have to watch the 88.6%XA, then the Monthly 161.8%XA, at the All Time High, and beyond that further XA projections.

Although I don't post here on a regular bases anymore. I feel inclined to post an updated chart on the SPY Longer Timeframe, since we have been following this pattern for a very long time.

It's now right at the 200%XA

updated monthly chart:

August closed just below 200%XA.

September opening up just above it, while in a XABCD pattern on the 60min TF.

SPY monthly chart update;

200%XA had significance for about 3 bars.

Current high just about a point under the 224%XA

My once a year chart contribution;

SPY monthly

trendline support coming up, below that the old 161.8%XA

And Daily; through PRZ, and 161.8%XA possible
