This is a question to Platinum users.  I am deciding between gold and platinum and from practical point of view could you please tell me what is the huge difference that you use on daily basis that is worth paying so much more.  I don't mind paying more money but I just would like to jusstify the difference.  Please tell me what are the features you use the most in the platinum version that are not availble in the gold version?

thank you for your help I really appreciate it.

The two main differences are:

1)  Intra day data.  If you use intra day data (5 min, hourly, etc), then Platnum is required.

2)  Clubs and Chat.  If you're looking tor the ability to network with other traders, the chat feature is great.  Sometime Peter Worden himself chimes in.  Even after hours, chat can get interesting.

Good luck..

hjasd,
If you want further information, the Software & Pricing page includes a Worden Product Comparison at the various service levels.

I am a new Gold user.  I've usedMetasock for probably 30 years and find it less and less user friendly over the years.  One thing I miss with the Gold is the years of stock history I get with Metastock.  Does the Platinum offer more years of stock history than you get with the Gold?  Is there a way to obtain more stock history?  Thanks!

There is about 30 years of price history available for most symbols which have been around that long, but the TC2000 v16 starts each trading day with the most recent 500 bars of available in each time frame. This means you have about 2 years of daily data.

You can access older daily data using TC2000 v7.

Thank you, Bruce.  If I download version 7, can I use both 7 AND 16 or is it one or the other?  And if one or the other, what do I lose by moving to version 7?  Thanks!
