OK, new for me, just implemented your idea, well, at least easier than counting the days.Thanks.

Hello,
Is there a way to get the Maximum High or Low since a specific date (e.g. MAXH.'04/18/2009' would give the high ON this specific date).
Otherwise I would need to count the days since the specific date I have in mind and then change my PCF daily... Have searched the forum and couldn't find a solution.
Appreciate your reply, many thanks,
regards.

OK. A bit different than what I wanted but still useful, I keep using my SGN pcf also. Are there new operators or functions for use in PCFs which haven't been documented? There is no way to program IF statements, in the future either?
OK, many thanks, regards.

Hi, is there a way to count the up - or down days of e.g. the past 3 days? E.g. a stock had the past 3 days change; -1.3 +0.5 -0.1 --> result would be -2 (2 down days). I tried something with the SGN function but couldn't get anything useful. So, the result would be a number, either -3, -2, -1, 0 (in theory too), 1, 2, 3.
Many thanks in advance for help.
Best regards.

OK, thanks for the info. That's OK, I already read something about the limitation of backtesting. The visual 'backtest' is pretty useful many times for me, but ... however... there is no way? Could I save e.g. today the Telechart database in another folder on my pc and so I would have later at least 1 older Telechart database? If I would this daily I would build a Telechart daily 'old' database? Or no way Jose this would work?
Many thanks for the help, I'll be around the forum quite more than before I expect.

Hello,
Is it possible to import Telechart data to cut off at a certain PAST date? If I for example would like to get rid of all data after March 10 2009. Or whatever date. Is there a trick I can apply?
Many thanks,
Regards.
