Hi,
My wife and I attended an excellent one-day seminar on "Blocks." It's great to listen to presenters who know how to use the products they're talking about.
Michael Thompson mentioned that Worden is beta testing a Blocks plug-in for working with the foreign exchange currency market. He said Worden might release it in the next few weeks. Has a release date been set? Do you have specifications on the Blocks 4X plug-in? Any examples of using the 4X plug-in?
Blocks is so amazingly powerful! Adding its capabilities to 4X trading will be awesome.
Thank you,
Mike

Hi Everyone,
Interesting group! Lots of great ideas and feedback which I sincerely appreciate.
As for personal comments - I don't believe they belong in a professional level discussion.
As for minimizing emotions, fear, greed - make a written trading plan and stick to it mechanically: state the current market conditions, entry point, stop loss, hedge, or options, take profit point, see if other similar instruments that match the one you're considering entering are moving in a similar or opposite direction for confirmation, trade management, money management, and the news. All of this taught to me by some very giving, wonderful people I highly respect.
As for stocks - like I say I'm a complete and total newbie. That's why I asked the original questions.
I have been studying trading the foreign exchange currency market for several months and have been writing trading plans and paper trading. Doesn't make sense to begin trading real money until one has the "feel for" and success rate to warrant moving on to risking capital. Even when moving to real money, it's recommended to start trading in what are called micro lots, move to mini lots, then standard lots; risking progressively more money with the potential for higher returns.
My wife and I just attended an all-day seminar on Worden's 'Blocks.' What an amazing tool! The power, flexibility, graphical tools for programming your own test scenarios and indicators - it's all there and more! AND we were told that Worden will release a foreign exchange currency add-on within the next few weeks. I want, rather NEED that!
Again I want to thank everyone who provided valued feedback regarding starting out in stocks. I sincerely wish all of you continued success.
God Bless,
Mike

Hi Brett, Thanks for responding. I appreciate your offer. You can email me at (email removed by Moderator). The 'at' and surrounding spaces are of course removed, as is the space between (email removed by Moderator) All done to prevent crawlers from reading the address - a lesson learned the hard way. Mike

Hi,
I'm totally new to stock trading. My wife suggested I check out your products. Certainly the learning curve depends on the time put in, dedication, and the ability to comprehend and put to use what you're teaching.
In general, what series of courses do you recommend completing, and how long does it take to go thru those courses and understand them, before applying that information in paper trades, then later as small real trades, then full trades?
And what is the overall cost involved: courses + trading platform + any Internet signals + trading fees and commissions + ??? ?
Finally, what is the success rate of your students, i.e. how many continue actively trading with your program after 6 months? How many move onto full-time trading for a living?
Thanks,
Mike
