I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to migrate settings from v7 to v16. Surely the codes are all there already written for v12.5 as the function exists there. It wouldn't take much resource to create a separate utility for those of us who want to migrate from v7 to v16.
Please consider this request or add the import feature back on future v16.releases.Thank you.

I want to import my TC2007 settings into TC2000 but the new version 16 has no File Import option. I see in the manual for 12.4 that there is a File Import option but I can't find the link to download version 12.4.
My plan is to download 12.4, bring over the settings from TC2007 and then update to 16. Is this possible? Thanks.

Ah. I see. You need the actual value everytime. Thank you for the quick response!

Is there a formula that lets me get the price of the QQQ from 3 days ago? Something like C.3(QQQ)?

TC2007 had the ability to sort by Visual Value (not Actual Value). I can't seem to find this on TC2000 v12. Is this feature available? Thanks.

Thanks bustermu,
I use the NH/NL figure to see if we're near oversold conditions. For instance, if the NH is still below 10 (on NYSE) by noon, the chance of a collapse is very great. But if the NH is already 40 (on NYSE) by noon EST, the chance of a collapse is almost none existant.
I was just curious why the numbers I calculated by hand did not match the intraday download I got from Worden. I see now that the end of day T2117 on 8/9 was not updated until very late so I was looking at the previous day's number of 55.72. 28.27 and my 25.8 is close enough for me.
Thanks again.

I see in the Help file that T2117 is calculated using the following formula: NH/(NH+NL). From looking through the forum I gathered that this is based off NYSE stocks.
This is where I'm confused. I look at Yahoo tonight (8/9) and I see for NYSE, here are the following:
NH = 154 NL = 443
Based on this info and the formula, the calculated T2117 is 154/597, or 25.795. But T2117 as listed in tonight's download is 55.72. Why the difference unless it is using some other number/formula?
I don't always have my computer with me so sometimes I'm unable to see T2117 as calculated throughout the day. But I was hoping I can just glance at the Yahoo Market Digest table and calcuated it by hand quickly. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks.

Ah...I understand now. Thank you so much. Now I'll be able to construct variants FX(-10), FX(-25)...etc. Thanks again Bruce!

Thanks Bruce. I really appreciate this. I'm also shocked as to how quickly TC2005 can calculate these numbers for all stocks given the calculations that it has to perform.
I've verified the sorts and they do work, and I don't want to seem like an ingrate, but would you mind explaining the background for the formula? I can see that the difference between the two formulas lie in your choosing 5/4 for the -FX20 and 5/6 for the FX20...why? And do the ^ imply 'to the power of'?
Thanks again and I really appreciate your persistence in pursuing this issue.

In my middle pane of the chart, I usually right click on the following:
RS:FX20:MovAvg 45
Then I click Sort By to get a Sort Value for the watchlist. I then look to the Sort Value and look for values that are just a tad above 0. I'm looking for those whose RSFX20 have just crossed UP over the 45DMA of the RSFX20. Those I want to buy.
I'm just hoping there is a way to do this for my short positions. In effect, I'm looking for 'losers' that have just began to outperform (on the downside) FX(-20).
I can see the validity in having the FX10, FX20...etc. as most investors go long. But I think a set of FX-10, FX-20 would be useful to those who like to go short. I'm just thinking maybe this isn't so difficult to program, but I don't know...?
Thanks for the quick response.
