I think I probably need to re-install telechart 2007, how to re-install it?  where can I download it? also  how can I get the past data fast?  Seems it takes forever to download all history data.

none of these working, it used to work, but starting from a few weeks back, it stops working for all scans requried more than 250 days.  I think there are some bugs that triggered.   Where is the data stored? maybe I can clean up the data and reload again.

Topic: why market capitalization in TC2000 is different from others
Posted: Tuesday, August 14, 2007 3:04:47 AM
Many stocks have different of market cap value in Telechart from google or yahoo site. For example, at the close date of 8/13/07, Telechart has 118.488B for GOOG, and it is 160.91B on google site, 160.60B on yahoo site, another example, at the close date of 8/13/07, Telechart has 3.942B for TRMB, and it is 4.52B on both google and yahoo site. So basically I do not trust much on Telechart's data sheet. The data sheet should be very helpful for building some PCFs based on fundamental values if I can trust the data there.

I noticed for some time that market capitalization for a company in TC2000 is different from Google or Yahoo finance web site. Usually Google and Yahoo web sites have very close capitalization number, but TC2000 is quite off. What happens?

Why not:

1. Create an EasyScan with the PCFs and scan those charts KNOWING where they are relative to the MAs

or

2. Take the PCFs and add them to your WatchList tab OR on the data bar. If you see TRUE there you know.

Customize the Information Displayed in the WatchList

Customize the Data Bar to display selected data points

Yes, I can add it into data bar or screen from PCF. But the major disadvantage of them is that they do not show historical behaviour. For example, using % True indicator I can easily check during the past year how many times this stock matches my buying condition. That is the reason I like % True indicator most.

Is it possible that you fix the issue related to EMA using in % True and we can download the latest TeleChart online. Since you already are able to plot 200 EMA in price chart, I guess it is not difficult to put the same algorithm to the % True indicator.

Thanks!
