Topic: Canned Sort Criteria
Posted: Wednesday, December 29, 2004 11:34:03 AM
Thanks for your help.
I would not mess with any of the pre-loaded formula.
But if the formula was available, I could modify it to make a PCF.
Thanks.

Is there any location for the canned sort criteria formulas?
For example if I want to sort by Relative Strength, instead of 1 year, can I do 3 months or any other time frame. And instead of the Relative Strength vs SP500, can I change to RS vs Industry Group where that particular stock resides.
Thanks.

I am using exponential averages in my MACD.
With this, all I am trying to do is find strong stocks from my list that have their MACD above the zero line more often than not.
Thanks.

Thanks for all the replies and your help but wouldnt the following
XAVG(XAVGC60,12) - XAVG(XAVGC60,12) > 0 (suggested by Tanstaafl)equal to zero as both sections are 12 periods.

I am looking for help in writing a PCF to get an average value greater than zero, for the 60 day moving average of the MACD which normally is AVGC12-AVGC26.
Would the following PCF work.
(AVG(AVGC12-AVGC26),60)>0.
Thanks.
