Thank you Bruce for the inspiration. Maybe an idea to develop something like this in a next version?
I'm trying to put a scan together that gives me stocks in a listthat is true throughout the trading day but on a 10min chart
suppose I'm looking for a close on a 10min bar that is within 10% of the high of that bar. On the list all stocks that have that condition true from the start of the trading day until the end of the trading day. when market is closed I can scan it without trouble because nothing changes anymore. how can I do this when I refresh the scan through-out the day to see which new stocks come on the list.
So the first 10min of the trading day the scan has to go through the first 10min bar, in time window 10-20min the scan needs to go through the first two 10min bars and so on ...
Is this possible?
Thx for any helpful input!
is there a way to find out how many days a stock is already in an easyscan?
example: stock shows up for the first time 6 days ago and stays in the scan until today.
Your answers always bring light in my cloudy head!
I'm struggling with the following:
I would like to count the # of bars where the RSI(14) on a monthly chart reached a 3 year high
I've tried it with trueinrow but I got stuck.
trueinrow(Max(RSI(14,36))-RSI(14),50) but that does not return what I'm looking for.
Sorry for the late reply
been in an accident, long recovery and still recovering.
google Eric Muathe ultimate breakout. I use it as picture of power test. From that I go on and wait for the right time to buy. holding period 3-6 months. Pretty much all big winners pass the test
I'm wondering whether it is possible that one can subtract moving averages from different time frames in a pcf: example
SMAC50 (daily) - SMAC25 (weekly)
thx for your reply. Tried and it worked!!!
wondering whether it is possible to set up a pcf that gives me the RSI at its 2 year high on a monthly chart.
same for the MACD breaking a new high in last year.
