Can you please advise if I am able to scan on both a daily chart & a weekly chart for a W bottom. Any help you can offer on a PCF or easy scan to find these patterns would be appreciated.

Try TC Scan c/w Correlscan. It is a telechart add on program.

I am an Options trader & I wish to establish a watchlist that contains underlying stocks that are firstly optionable. I note that you have this as a standard list however I also wish to screen for the liquidity of the options associated with the underlying. Stock traded volumes for the underlying are unreliable as pertains to the options traded hence I wish the stock list to filter out all underlyings with a DVO or dollar volume of options traded that is less than an average of $40,000 /day on average. Is this something I can do with Telecharts?
Thanks

I am a new user of Telecharts/Stockfinder & am fumbling my way through what appears to be a very powerful pieces of software. What I am trying to determine is whether there is an Indicator, PCF etc available which will give me a list of stocks that mimic market sentiment & in particular stock that mimic the movements of the index/sector that they belong too. Its the old 75% of stocks follow the trend of their Indice rule however I was hoping for an indicator that will refine this generalisation somewhat. If an indicator or formulae code does not exist any advise about where I should go to get this info would be great. Unfortunately for now I have to much to learn before I even consider trying to write my own formulae etc. Anyway thanks for now.

Bruce,
I tried to load the code you supplied on 7/10 as relates to the 2nd HV code which was a Daily HV Ratio. In came up with an error on line 16 & 21 which stated that the name plot is not declared. Any ideas?

Bruce, thanks very much I had a look at the Stochastics video. It was very informative & I will give it a go. Jas0501 thankyou as well. The program seem great & able to do an amazing amount of things. This real code writing however is currently way over my head. Who know, I might get the hang of it as I progree. Once again thanks to you both for your efforts.

Sorry, it was getting late & I had an early start in the morning. Is it possible to scan via a ranking, what I am looking for is a scan on HV over a minimum of 1 year & a max of 3 years ( differant scans ok). What I am trying to identify is stocks which today have a HV which is within the 70% to 100% range of the volatility to which it has operated in the last period as defined above (1 year, 3 years etc). I am an option trader & what this scan alerts me to is a sharp drop in price which bumps up the HV, IV normally also heads up & it presents me with an opportunity to sell the IV at a high price.

I thin I have got it, you supplied two codes so I have been able to set up 2 rules. Can you please advise me what each rule iscanning for in layman terms, is it HV above 70 or is HV in its 70th percentile
