Topic: Moving the Location of StockFinder Data Files
Posted: Wednesday, September 9, 2009 2:13:44 PM
I have StockFinder installed on my desktop (VISTA) PC and a laptop.  I understand that all of the layouts and charts are located in a sub-folder called "Stockfinder" within the Documents folder.  I have been keepng my layouts synchronized by copying the StockFinder sub-folder back and forth between my laptop and my desktop.  I would like to move the Stockfinder sub-folder over to an external hard drive that I can access from both my laptop and my desktop.  My question is:  How can I point the Stockfinder program to this new location?

Thanks.  That works fine.

Okay.  I see what you mean.  If I edit the plot properties of a moving average I can see the line thickness.  But there is no line thickness if you edit the plot properties of a price history.  That is my problem.

Thanks but I don't see it.  Have you looked at the Chart Properties box lately?  I think Worden removed this funcionality.

Do you have any plans to give us back the ability to adjust the plot line thickness?  Am I the only one who would like to do this?

Two questions:

1. Regarding the column content criteria for the watch list tabs. Am I locked into the criteria given or is this customizable? In other words, I can add a 5-day price increase percent and a one month price increase percent. What if I want to see a two month and a three month percent increase column?

2. Regarding Easyscan, I would like to develop a simple momentum formula. Something like all stocks between $5.00 and $50.00 that have seen a price increase of 20% in the last three months and 40% in the last six months and 60% in the last year. I am pretty sure this can be done, I just can't figure out how to do it. Can you help?

Thanks.
