 Check out this video. A double/triple top/bottom is price, at the end of a trend, bouncing in a sideways channel. I find doubles and triples with this procedure...

Scan for stocks bouncing in a lateral channel

Be sure to focus on the time period you want the top/bottom to happen and watch for the trend leading to the bounces.
