Hi All, I was a member way back when and have since rejoined. I trade rather aggresively based mostly on technicals and a little due diligence. Thoughts on ZICA, as it is at the bottom of a trading range, and I will probably buy at 2:20.

Thoughts??

bestbob, I think it's in an excellent buy position, with a tight stop just below Friday's low, and target of 3. I disagree with lepaul...I think it looks best on the daily chart in several regards...to me the daily says it probably put in another bottom on Thursday, with Friday showing the beginning of yet another trip to 3+. Good luck with it.

I agree with Fp ..although try for an intraday buy on support .... watch for the top though as the chart is setting up for a descending triangle (last three highs have been lower than each other) ..cci and stochastics are oversold .. nice set up

Thanks all for the feedback. When I read lepaul I thought I must have lost my skills, and maybe I did. Anyway, my GTC is out there at 2.20, and I will be traveling tomorrow. We shall see.

Again, thanks for the feedback, nice to share ideas and get feedback.

Looks like I bought too early at 2.20. Anyway, hopefully the low of 2.11 is it, and I am still in it. Still have hope for a bull rally or dead cat bounce, the telco industry does look oversold IMHO.

Good luch to all,,,

Best ...I am with you on the telco industry looking oversold and have a few stocks that I am watching DITC being an interesting one for me. Are you still in ZICA? Looks like it might have reached its bottom and has now formed a triple bottom on the daily chart. It looks like it may reverse as the RSi 14 is potiviely divergent to price.

Bob, good luck on ZICA. IF your statement implies that you're going to hold all the way into earnings, that would be the opposite of what I do. Sorry if I misinterpreted, but now is as good a time as any to discuss an area that interests me...earnings and how to play them. Not saying my style is right for everyone, but unless I'm long term investing in a stock I ALWAYS sell right before earnings regardless of how well the chart may look. Matter of fact I sold two stocks Friday that have earnings Monday and they have patterns I like...ABP and DESC. Made a decent little profit on ABP earlier in the week on its pullback bounce...broke even on DESC after it failed to catch a bid leading into earnings. My take is that instead of buying and holding for a measured speculation after careful chart consideration, holding into earnings is pure roulette wheel spinning. After earnings come out no one knows how the stock will react even if on the surface the reports seems positive. Look every day at stocks that have big time gaps to the downside...often times it's because of earnings. If the report is intraday and the stock is thinly traded on average it can still drop so fast that you can't get out at a good price. If the report sends it higher often times you can get back in on a pullback. It's just playing the odds imo over many stocks over time. Would love to hear how other traders play earnings reports. At the least I hope ZICA catches a bid early this week going into earnings later in the week and gives you a nice profit. Good luck.
