How can I see the value of an indicator on a chart I use on a specific day?

If you plot the indicator in the top window you can use the pointer mode. The period (or Full Stop) key toggles the pointer mode. Hit it twice and the info window will show you the values of everything plotted in the top window.
You can also sort your WatchList by the indicator's ACTUAL (not VISUAL) value and it will appear in your sort column.
Lastly, we can make a PCF for you that you can display in the data bar OR in the WatchList window.

Go to the PCF Wizard, put in your settings for RSI, and it will generate the code for you. Check out this video:
