I’m defaulted to Version 18 (Beta)
How can I re-default to V17, and;
Which one is better V17 or 18?

You can quickly go back to the Live Build of TC2000 (v17), simply click on the following to change your Beta Test Release options:
Click on Tools > System Settings > General (tab) > Scroll to bottom and choose Always ask to run Beta.
If you are not receiving the Beta version when selecting that option, right click the desktop icon > open file location > right click startsettings.dat > delete.
As to which is "better", version 17 is a production release and version 18 is in beta. The beta is going to generally have newer features and some bug fixes, but will have undergone less testing. So the features it does have may not be final and any new bugs which might have been introduced are more likely to have gone unnoticed.
