Is there an option for short sell in ver 2017?

You can sell short in a paper trading margin account but not in a paper trading cash account. I am pretty sure all new paper trading accounts are set up as margin accounts by default, so you should be able to sell short with a new paper account. An older paper trading account might be set up as cash however (and you would net be able to sell short from such a paper trading account).

If the question is about actual trading, I cannot answer the question as I do not work for TC2000 Brokerage.
