i would like to sort for stocks that fit this criterea:
1. 3 consecutive long black days occur (down days)
2. each day closes at a new low
3. each day opens within the body of the previous day
4. each day closes at or near its lows
for anyone wondering, this is a "bearish reversal pattern"
btw, i "searched" the forum for this topic and found nothing.

I'm hardly a candlestick expert, but I think this covers the conditions you outlined:
O > C AND O1 > C1 AND O2 > C2 AND C < L1 AND C1 < L2 AND O > C1 AND O < O1 AND O1 > C2 AND O1 < O2 AND (C - L) / (H - L + .0001) < .2 AND (C1 - L1) / (H1 - L1 + .0001) < .2 AND (C2 - L2) / (H2 - L2 + .0001) < .2
