Hi

Is there a condition formula that can scan  when sma10 crossed the sma50, then I want to use the high of this crossing day  as my pivot point.  but I just want to scan or create an alert for individual stocks in my watchlist for when it price pass this pivot point with high volume. thanks

We can probably use the techniques in the Days Since Last Peak (or other day-counting needs) topic for this, but the formula is going to be quite long and limited in how far back it can looks for the cross between the SMA10 and SMA50.

How many bars back to you need to be able to look for the cross between the SMA10 and SMA50?

Does the direction of the cross between the SMA10 and SMA50 matter?

What constitutes high volume? Would something like twice the average volume over the most recent 10 bars work or do you want something else?

Does the direction of the cross between price and the pivot point matter? The formula will be about twice as long if it does (meaning the lookback would need to be shorter).

I want the use a least 10 days after the crossed.(sma10 cross up sma50)

and volume 40% above 50 day moving average on any of these 10 days

and the high point in the day the two average cross as my pivot point.

 I just want to scan or create an alert for individual stocks in my watchlist for when it price pass this pivot point with high volume(40% above 50 day moving average)
