Dear Bruce,
What should I write for
1. the value of C at a particular day, said 20120103;
2. the value of C at the first bar, among all the available data
3. the value of a variable (said, MAXH17-MINL13.2) at 10 bar ago

You would replace the bars ago parameter with a date, so:
C'01/03/2012'
QUOTE (mcwang2012) the value of C at the first bar, among all the available data
There is no way to identify the first available bar of data in TC2000. The only way to access anything besides the current bar is to use the bars ago parameter (which can also be replaced by a date). The bars ago parameter is based on how many bars something is prior to the currently calculating bar.
QUOTE (mcwang2012) the value of a variable (said, MAXH17-MINL13.2) at 10 bar ago
You would increment all of the bars ago parameters in the formula by 10:
MAXH17.10 - MINL13.12

The What's New in version 12.4 video covers the highlights, but there are a bunch of videos in the New in Version 12.4 section of the TC2000 Tutorial Videos which cover the new features in more detail.
