Hello Worden's trainer,
Is there a simple way to write the TRIX as part of the PCF?
ie: xAvg(Trix5,3)
Thank you,

Formulas for the TRIX and its Moving Average Signal Line are too long and slow to be practical or post in the forums. Your best option would be to click on the indicator on the chart and select Create Scan Condition or Show values in WatchList.

HI Bruce,
Request your help.
Is there a PCF that measures the the distance (values) between a TRIX 12 and a Moving Average 9, like we have between a MA 21 and a MA 50 for example. It will be great if you could help with this PCF?
Thank you.

I cannot think of a way to do this. As stated in my previous response, formula for the TRIX and its Moving Average Signal Line are too long and slow to be practical or post in the forums. If it cannot be done by clicking on TRIX and selecting Show Values in WatchList or Create Scan Condition, then we can't create a PCF to work around it.

Hi Bruce,
Please clarify the following:
When analysing monthly charts , what should the Trix period be?
The default is 12.. should I retain this or should I increase/decrease value.
Thanks

The trainers can't give setting, interpretation or investment advice. The setting you use are entirely up to you.
