Hello, I created a PCF and then added it to a chart using the Custom PCF % True indicator. One symbol shows the PCF to be true via the custom PCF indicator but does not show in an easy scan. What causes the results to be inconsistent?

Thanks,
~mike

You did not match the exact details, but I am aware of issues with both BOP and any Indicators with Exponential (or Wilder's Smoothed) components used as Watchlist Columns, Personal Criteria Formulas or EasyScan Conditions not matching Charted their charted versions in the TC2000.com version 11 beta. At least with EMAs, initial testing so far would seem to indicate the main issue is with the Watchlist Columns, Personal Criteria Formulas and EasyScans using less data for their calculations than is being used on the Chart.

Also keep in mind that the Chart is being updated constantly because it is a single symbol. It takes longer to do calculations for all of the symbols in a Watchlist. In addition, various Watchlist Columns for example may have Refresh Rates set at frequencies well below the rate at which they could be calculated.

I'm using Average volume MinL and MaxH Simple Moving Average and Stochastics.

Would a formula like this be impacted? What's the fix?

Thanks,
~mike

You haven't posted your exact formula, but the fix needs to be done on our end.

Here is my formula,

AVGV50 >= 3000 AND
(MAXH30 - MINL10) / C < 0.15 AND
AVGC20 > AVGC50 AND AVGC50 > AVGC50.1 AND L1 > AVGC20.1 AND L2 > AVGC20.2 AND L3 > AVGC20.3 AND L4 > AVGC20.4 AND L5 > AVGC20.5 AND L < AVGC20 AND AVGC20 > AVGC20.1 AND C > AVGC50 AND
STOC8.3.2 > 91 OR STOC8.3.3 > 91 OR STOC8.3.4 > 91 OR STOC8.3.5 > 91 OR STOC8.3.6 > 91 OR STOC8.3.7 > 91 OR STOC8.3.8 > 91 OR STOC8.3.9 > 91 AND
MAXH20 = MAXH15
When is the fix for this going to take place?

I do not know when the next update will be made to the TC2000.com version 11 beta or if the fix to any particular issue will make it into the next update in any case. When an issue is resolved, it should be mentioned in the Patch Notes.

Keep in mind that the TC2000.com version 11 beta is just that, a beta. The best way to influence what features are going to be in TC2000.com is to actively participate in the beta test and provide feeback. That said, you might want to use the current production release of TeleChart if you would prefer to use a product that is no longer in beta testing. Your data subscription should give you access to both the current production release of TeleChart and the TC2000.com version 11 beta.

I have not been able to reproduce the issue with your particular Personal Criteria Formula. What symbol is showing True as a Custom % True Indicator but not showing up in your EasyScan?

BHH was True yesterday on the Chart but not today. It doesn't show up in my EasyScan today and shouldn't.

OK, but there is no way to test that now so we can troubleshoot the issue and get it fixed. There is at least one thing to check however. What is the List to Scan for your EasyScan?

Do you have any symbols that are currently in your EasyScan that shouldn't be or that are not in your EasyScan that should be there?
