 I have written a formula to calculate the change between todays close and yesterday close. The formula is c1-c.  It doesn't work.  Would you tell me why it doesn't work?  I want to scan a watchlist to find stocks that have a large price change from yesterday.

 Try C - C1 instead of C1 - C.  Otherwise stocks that move up will appear to move down and vice versa.
