Downloaded the version 5 yesterday and for some reason the MAIN; BROKER; INDUSTRY; COMPONENT; ETF; TELECHART watchlists are not populated. I have re-installed several times and still not successful.  Only PERSONAL is populated with scans from version 4. Help. Thanks.

It reads like you are opening a StockFinder 4 Layout with a Secondary WatchList. If so, that WatchList Selector didn't allow for the selction of anything except Personal WatchLists in SF4 either. The only things that leads me to doubt this possibility is that you didn't mention that this was happening with just some of your WatchLists and that the Main Tab of the WatchList selector should still list the Personal WatchLists if this were the case.

New Secondary WatchLists in StockFinder 5 behave far more like the Main WatchList and allow you to select any WatchList using the WatchList Selector.

Do all of your existing WatchList Selectors only allow you to select Personal WatchLists?

If you select Windows | Main WatchList, are you able to select any WatchList using its drop-down menu?

If you select File | New WatchList or File | Open WatchList are you abel to select any WatchList using its drop-down menu?

Bruce:

Confused with your response. Is there something I did wrong when I downloaded the Beta 5 version or should I say how do I resolve the problem. Because I have uninstall and instal 4 times and still getting the same result.

I'm sorry the response is confusing you.

If you are opening an existing StockFinder 4 Layout with Secondary WatchLists, those Secondary WatchLists are behaving the same way in StockFinder 5 as they would in StockFinder 4. I do not know of a way to change this behavior besides removing the Secondary WatchList (probably called "My WatchList") from the Layout and replacing it by selecting File | Open WatchList or File | New WatchList.

The only WatchLists which should exhibit this behavior are Secondary WatchLists loaded from an existing StockFinder 4 Layout.

The Main WatchList from a StockFinder 4 Layout should not exhibit this behavior.

None of the WatchLists in a new StockFinder 5 Layout should exhibit this behavior

No WatchList added from within StockFinder 5 to an existing StockFinder 4 Layout should exhibit this behavior.
