A triple exponential MA of a close can be obtained by plotting a EMA of a EMA of a EMA of the close like very clearly indicated in one of the Worden videos. It is also explained that the TRIX can be obtained by plotting the ROC of the triple exponential MA.
I was wondering what would be the TC200 formula of a triple exponential MA: 1) a single 12 EMA can be written XAVGC12 2) a double exponential 12 EMA would be XAVG(XAVGC12,12) 3) a triple exponential 12 EMA? Could you help me on that one?
The reason I would like to have a formula for a triple exponential MA (and not using the EMA of a EMA of a EMA) is that I would like to plot it as a momentum.
Any idea?

We cannot double nest the XAVG function.
You can plot just the third EMA and have the first two not visible. I am not sure the advantage you are trying to find by plotting a formula vs. the EMA of the EMA of the EMA.
What would the parent of your formula be? I need you to elaborate a bit for me.

Thanks for your answer. I would like to plot the momentum of the EMA of the EMA of the EMA (triple EMA). Precisely, I would like to plot the triple EMA today minus the triple EMA the day before. Similarly, many traders work with the TRIX momentum.

Gotcha... did you see this video?
How to plot TRIX - triple exponential average
You can do a 1 period ROC on the last EMA. You don't need to do a formula. Add the ROC to the last EMA.
