I have successfully installed and am running TC2005.
Can I now uninstall TC2000 without creating problems with TC2005?
I don't like wasteing hard drive space with files that I'm not using.

You took the words right out of my mouth! Since I don't see a "uninstall" link next to the Worden progam in my Windows "all programs" list, I assume we'll have to uninstall via Add/Remove programs found in Control Panel?

You are correct. I recomend emailing tech if you are not 100% sure of the procedure. Technical Support is available via telephone and email. Their hours are 9AM - 9PM EST through the week, and 9AM - 3PM Saturday. 919.408.0542 or support@worden.com

Craig, thanks for advice on contacting support. I did and they emailed me back advising to NOT delete TC2000 until further notice, saying they would have an easier procedure for removing 2000 in near future.

Before you try to uninstall TeleChart 2.3/4.7/5.3, please verify the following:
You have imported your TeleChart 2.3/4.7/5.3 settings into TeleChart 2005.
You have backed up your current TeleChart 2005 settings.
TeleChart AND TeleChart 2005 are BOTH listed in Add/Remove Programs.
You do not have TeleChart for Mutual Funds installed.
If all four conditions are true, you should be able to uninstall TeleChart 2.3/4.7/5.3 by selecting TeleChart (without the 2005) in Add/Remove Programs.

Here are a few additional suggestions based upon a few
year's experience:
Drag the TeleChart 2.3/4.7.5.3 folders into the TrashCan
(Not the TeleChart 2005 folder or the Worden Studio folder)
Empty the TrashCan
Run at least 1 Registry Cleaner to get rid of
the garbage that the uninstall program misses.
Both of the following Registry Cleaners have
free trial versions available through download.com
. Registry Mechanic
_ _ effective and easy to use
. Ashampoo WinOptimizer Platinum Suite 2
_ _ effective but more advanced
Then run the Operating System's Disk Defragmenter
(Anyone who has looked at the analysis before defragmenting the hard drive is familar with the dozens of fragmented TeleChart files.)

Why must TeleChart for Mutual Funds not be installed on your hard drive??? If so and your unistall TeleChart 5.3, what will happen ????

The TCDK for TeleChart for Mutual Funds will not work unless TeleChart 5.3 is installed. As a result, uninstalling TeleChart 5.3 will prevent third party programs from accessing TeleChart for Mutual Funds' data.
