Craig -
Thank you for prompt response.
I am following your suggestion and learning to use buttons on your forum.
Thank you for personal attention. I do indeed try to read your posts very
attentively.
I would respectively note that MWNIX is a mutual fund, not a
stock, as you wrote in your reply. It is one of funds (now) distributed
with TC2000 for funds, and I have placed a discussion on a board called
"TC2000 mutual funds". Please tell me why this means that I "...keep posting at the end of threads that have nothing to do with your post...."?
I would also appreciate the worden definition of what is "off-topic" so
that I won't get in trouble again.

Please note the only thing I care about is improving your product,
that would benefit me and others and will eventually result in more customers for you.
I believe that Worden brothers think the same way and want problems
resolved asap. Please let me know if I am wrong.
best - alex

The historical data for this stock should be set for resend in the next few nights. Everyone will get the corrected historical data when they download.

dalengo, your post has little to do with the thread above it. Your post is considered "off topic" because it does not relate. I am forced to lock threads that stray off topic.

In the future, if you have a question or a comment that does not directly relate to an active topic you can create your own topic by clicking the NEW TOPIC button at the top of the screen.

If you still do not see the correction on your charts in by Tuesday's download, please start a new topic and let me know.

Locking for being off topic.

Glad to see it finally came through for you....

I wish you had read all of my last reply to you, though. We have to teach you how to use the NEW TOPIC button! You keep posting at the end of threads that have nothing to do with your post....

You are not "in trouble" and I regret if I came off like I was "punishing" you. You did post your note as a reply on a topic titled Funds so I can understand the confusion.

The topic was titled funds but the original poster was talking about something unrelated to your issue with MWNIX. Someone coming in and reading the topic and the replies (the "thread") would have then ran into your post which was not related to the original topic.

"Off topic" is when a reply on a topic does not relate to the original topic and the replies that followed it.

One of my goals is to keep all of the great information being created here on the boards organized so others who use it can get the most value from everything being shared.

You did the best thing by starting a new topic for this post. If anyone replies to this post and their reply does not have to do with your post above, I will have to lock this thread too.

What would not be off topic for this new topic you created? Anyone could post a question for clarifying :off topic" as a term or to even disagree with the reply I am posting to your topic above.

Someone could also ask/comment on the fund you mention above or even call me a dope for calling it a stock earlier. Most importantly, any reply that anyone reading JUST this topic could understand without reading any other topics would fit and enrich this topic (your creation).

You did nothing wrong, I am just being a bit zealous about keeping everything organized. To give you an idea of how crazy I am, I will be moving this topic to the ASK A TRAINER forum from the TELCHART forum because you asked me the question vs. posting specifically about TeleChart. I alphabatize my 1,000+ music CDs too, if that gives you an idea of how particular I can be with organization.

Your persistance on the fund did us a great service by making sure this did not fall through the cracks. With all of the stocks, funds, indexes, averages and information we cover, some things do get missed... sometimes the get missed a few times. You made sure we got the discrepency corrected for all of the users of the fund program which is very kind.

...you know where to find me if you need me again!
